TEARING DOWN THE SPIRIT HOUSE
With Thailand being more than 95% Buddhist, pretty much every home/business/building has a “spirit house” on the property somewhere, believed to shelter the spirits that "own" the land there. They are believed to bring fortune and protection to the people who live or work there. Not surprisingly, Yuyie’s mom’s land where she lives has always had one on it. But not anymore! Once Yuyie’s mom put her faith in Jesus and prayed to follow Him earlier this year, she went out on her own accord and tore down the spirit house on her land - the very thing that is so sacred to Thai Buddhists - thus demonstrating how she now is serving and trusting in her Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ, the only One worthy of our worship!

Generosity is our privilege! We’re so thankful for the opportunity to serve recently at our local homeless shelter, one of our outreach partners here in Bangkok! Because of your giving, we were able to be the hands and feet of Jesus to them and deliver some much needed mosquito wire-mesh for their windows, as well as some adult diapers for those who are handicapped. What seems like something small to us is a big deal to those in need. Thank you so much for your generosity in Jesus’ Name that is making a difference here in our city!

RAISED TO LIFE!
Just this past month, Yuyie’s mom visited us in Bangkok for the weekend, and we had the amazing honor to baptize her, spend some time discipling her, pray/worship with her, serve her her first communion, visit a local Thai church with her, and serve the poor together! It was a jam-packed, Holy Spirit-filled weekend to say the least! God really touched her during our time together, and she told us: “I feel God said to me He wants me to be the change agent in our family” and wants to lead all her kids and grandkids out of Buddhism to know Jesus! Please continue to pray for her, as she says: “This is now my purpose.”
